The Almagor umbrella group of terror-victim associations called Thursday night on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to stop negotiations with Hamas and seek creative solutions for the release of abducted soldier Gilad Shalit that don’t involve prisoner releases.

Speaking in the wake of the murder of a Shavei Shomron man near the Samarian Jewish community of Einav, Almagor chairman Meir Indor said, “Send all those who call on you to release prisoners to visit the family of the murdered [man] so they can feel for an hour what the family is going through. Before the next abduction, they can take advantage of the opportunity to convince the mourners to agree to release the terrorists who killed their loved one, if and when they are caught.”
