The Almagor umbrella group of terror-victim organizations criticized the Supreme Court on Thursday for its decision to revoke a law that allows authorities to hold remand hearings for defendants without the defendants being present.

The organization said the decision would turn the investigation of terrorists into a farce and buy them time until their comrades carry out another act of terror.

Following the disclosure of the arrest of a terror cell that planned to abduct a soldier, the Almagor umbrella group of terror-victim organizations said Thursday that, “The older makeup of the terrorist-kidnapper cell that was discovered teaches that terrorists cannot be released, even if they are older.”

Almagor Chairman Meir Indor added, “The release of terrorists, or even negotiations with them, encourages additional abductions, as has been exposed by the discovery of the latest cell.”

The organization of terror victims – Almagor has demanded that the IDF cease cooperation with the PA police and begin a re-examination of the General Dayton Plan for training PA policemen following the discovery that a PA police officer was responsible for the murder of an IDF soldier Wednesday.
