The Almagor terror victims association has turned to the Supreme Court seeking to prevent the transfer of NIS 200 million from the government to the Palestinian Authority (PA), referring to tax revenues being passed to the PA by Israel as per signed agreements.

Acting Prime Minister Ehud Olmert announced at Sunday’s weekly cabinet meeting that the funds would be handed over to the PA, despite objections, citing Hamas’ election victory. Opponents explain that the funds will be taken by Hamas and used in terrorist attacks against Israel.
