Almagor Chief, Meir Indor, says Israel certainly won’t be a light unto the nations if it allows terrorists to go free. Responding to remarks Ashekanzi made in support of releasing terrorists, the head of the Terrorist Victims Organization said, “The Chief of Staff should concentrate on protecting the nation and not on making political remarks. He certainly should not involve the IDF in issues being debated in Israeli society. If G-d forbid terrorists are released, many Israeli families are going to ask themselves why the IDF endangers their children when apprehending terrorists only to release them later.”
