The Almagor umbrella group of terror victims associations asked Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Tuesday to cancel the granting of Israel’s equivalent of the Nobel Prize to Kol Yisrael government radio military correspondent Carmela Menashe. Almagor claims Menashe used her position to advance an extreme leftist agenda and accused her of false reporting and unethical behavior.

Almagor specificly accused Menashe of pressuring the government to withdraw from Lebanon and Gaza and to run down Effie Eitam when he was actively serving in the military. They also said she was recorded saying she would not report on opponents of withdrawal.
